Ticketing Changes in Place for Glendale Heights Fest

Carnival Ride Ticket Kiosks to Replace Ticket Booths

kiosk for fest carnival ride ticketsPatrons at this years’ Glendale Heights Fest will experience a big change when it comes to purchasing ride tickets. Attendees will be introduced to Kiosks, located just inside of the main entrance (Fullerton Avenue), with a second Kiosk positioned on the opposite side of the festival grounds. Each Kiosk can accommodate six customers at a time, and the process for purchasing a card to use on the rides is very similar to what you now see at other entertainment venues.

Each carnival ride requires a certain number of credits, and you will be asked to purchase a quantity of credits which will then be loaded onto a ride card. You’ll present your ride card, and the operator will scan it and the appropriate number of credits will be deducted from your card balance. You can reload your card at any time the carnival is open.

Kiosks will accept cash, credit or debit cards, and will give you change back. Patrons can also get instructions for using the Kiosk in either Spanish or English.
